Welcome to Nature’s Marrow!
Here at Nature’s Marrow, it is our intense passion to help create a lasting, meaningful artpiece from the start of an idea.
You might not know what you want just yet - and that’s ok!
Here’s how to get started.
-
Reserve by filling out an inquiry form on the “Contact us” page!
A non-refundable $50 deposit is required in order to save your date more than a month out. This credit goes towards your piece.
-
This is the fun part! Pick out your customized details:
- Frame type (shadowbox or oval)
- Frame style (Simple, classic, ornate) - Color & Background mat color - Orientation / design detailsWe will discuss over email, text, or call! Or feel free to stop by our store.
-
Please prepare to drop off your flowers asap! 1-3 days after the event is best. Here are the steps to follow:
Have a friend or family member agree to taking your flowers home & give them our contact if you’re leaving out of town.
Ensure the stems are cut 1 inch and they have fresh water each day. Place in the fridge or a cold area (NOT the freezer!)
VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT bring flowers in a bag. Solo cups, Tupperware, or Vases are necessary.
-
Once you confirm your details and wishes are still correct before or on the drop-off date, we will send you an invoice for the 50% deposit (subtracting $50 if a reservation was made.)
This must be paid before flowers will be processed.
Once everything is paid, you can relax for about 16-20 weeks until we let you know your piece is completed!
What you need to know:
-
Depending on the volume of the season, each piece takes about 16-20 weeks to complete on average. The flowers are dry after 4 weeks & safely stored until I get to your folder in the queue. Once you’re next in line, I’ll let you know so you can expect your order within the following 2-10 days! This will vary if you order more than 2 pieces.
-
As your flowers lose moisture and start to oxidize, their colors change! Pinks turn purple, whites turn ivory, cherry reds turn a deep burgundy-black.
At Nature’s Marrow, we use special practices to return your flowers back to their original color, but ask that you have a bit of grace with perfection.
-
We can work with air-dried flowers and even 30y old petals, but if you have the ability, please make sure you or your drop-off team follows these important steps to keep your flowers fresh:
Ensure the stems are cut 1 inch and they have fresh water each day.
Place the vase of flowers in the refridgerator (NOT the freezer!) This is the most important step! Flowers wilt slower in colder temps.
VERY IMPORTANT: DO NOT bring flowers in a bag. It -always- ruins and smushes the flowers. No need to be too fancy, but please have a McDonalds cup or some type of vessel with fresh water.
-
Every client means SO much to us!! You know what hits better than a tip? A really kind and thoughtful review for us to share for years and your word of mouth! Every sweet review doesn’t just help our business, it helps us know that our work really meant a lot to you and made an impact. That’s what’s most fulfilling to us.
We also ask that if you have a concern, please don’t hesitate to talk with us about it. Some things are the way they are for a reason, but others can be altered to your preference. If something truly bothers you, we understand that art & beauty is “in the eyes of the beholder.” We will try our best to work with you within reason.
